Predator U7186 Stuck on "booting_dmx_lly_lbz"

U7186 - '06-'07 Duramax

Customer brought this in for an update. So I downloaded the latest DSDownloader and the latest CROM file. Plugged it in and the DSDownloader recognized it right away, and I started the upload. All going smooth until it got almost to the end of the upload and then it stalled. No big deal... I've seen this before, and usually follow the "Application Missing or Corrupt" procedure and all is well.

Not this time...

Now when I power up the Predator, it reads "booting_dmx_lly_lbz", then the screen goes blank. Now I can't even get the computer to talk to the Predator. I've read the troubleshooting tips and tried everything I can think of... but in the end, it's basically pointless because they simply won't connect through any combination of COM ports or BAUD rates.

What now?

How can I load that when my PC won't detect the Predator?

Ok... I finally got it to detect the tool by going into the device manager and manipulating COM3 to match the settings in the DSDownloader. AND... the .crom file that you sent actually fits, so we're good to go. Thank you!
