U7170 7R19D upgrade to 9r05

What does the update do? Is it worth the $100.00? Will it make a difference in performance and/or MPG on a 99 F350 7.3?

To be 100% Honest.I had better mpg with the 7R19D.I could get 21 to 22 MPG on the Highway,Now i get about 19.
