Update Question

2008 Chevy Silverado 5.3

I talked to Mike on GM-Trucks.com about updating my version to the 9r18.
I have my 87 octane tune customized to account for 4.88 gears.

So if I'm correct. I need to put my stock tune back on the truck. Then update the Diablo with the 9r18.
Now after I do that do I need to adjust all the parameters I want adjusted. then log and adjust the LTFT's and then post my original tune and current tune so the correct gear setting can be added to the tune.
Will driving the truck with the 87 octane tune not adjusted for the 4.88 gears give an accurate reading for the LTFT so I can adjust or can I adjust LTFT's after I get the tune customized for the 4.88's.

I hope all that makes sense cause I'm sure you can tell I'm no genius on this subject matter

You are correct, you should be able to reapply the current settings as a good base.

Well I posted this in the wrong section, Sorry.
But I've sent in my new updated tune in the Predator Section
