I just got a U7194 with crom 9R08 in it,I bought it used.Can I update it to the new crom9R18 for my 08 Silverado 5.3 and it work?

yes, absolutely... it's still a new enough revision where I have access to all the new tweaks that are in the newer revisions, so no worries... I can hook ya up...

install one of the tunes - either install the 87 octane tune if you only use 87 gas in your truck, or install the Diablo Tune if you use 91/93 octane gas in the truck...

well, it won't be specific for "towing"... overall performance, you'll get quicker throttle response, better acceleration, stronger/harder pull, etc etc... but nothing specific for towing... there's no tcm/tranny support, so can't adjust any tranny settings, like shift points or whatnot... you should have a tow/haul button that thing, no??

Yes have the tow haul button.Would it be for 87 fuel?

no.. it is not octane specific....

the tow/haul mode just changes the shift points/firmness...

Just get a Diablew tune and pull away. That's what I've got.

Agreed, get the DiabLew tune and you will be happy. When towing just use the tow/haul button and it will hold the shifts longer and firm them up for you and Lew's tune will still be giving you all the engine side improvements.
