Tow/Haul mode

Does the Tow/Haul mode over-ride the tune when engaged, and if so, does it over-ride all aspects of the tune?

Is there a way to program the tow haul mode separately from the non tow/haul mode? i.e. Using the Tow/Haul feature for a 92 octane tune, and non tow/haul for an 87 octane tune.

2007 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4
5.3L, 4spd

Thanks

no... tow/haul mode just uses a different set of shifting parameters... everything else is still the same... so, you can't have two different octane tunes...

Hi!
Newby, soon to purchase a trinity for a 2006 Yukon 5.3L 4x4.
The question above still begs the question, what does happen to the tow/haul mode after a tune is loaded? Can you modify both transmission parameters with the Trinity?
Thanks!
And lookin forward to it. If you have a heart, perhaps you could estimate the month that the Trinity for this engine family will be ready to sell? :)

One program in the truck, tow/haul just changes the shifting parameters by a percentage from the installed tune. NO way to have two different settings.

the Trinity does not support your 2006 truck at this point... no ETA as to when it will yet...

no, the tranny settings would not affect the tow/haul mode shifting parameters... those are already modified in the preset tunes, but if you make changes yourself with the programmer, it changes the normal mode/driving parameters...

both can modified if you get a custom tune tho... the diablo CMR custom tuner has access to everything in the tune file and can modify things individually...
