CAR WON'T START after failed update

Just purchased the DSP and received it today via mail.
Updated it via dsdownloader and did the calibration setup (after receiving CALLID via tuner). Well I plugged it into the vehicle to install the tune and it failed giving me 'missing file/vpp issue'
I rebooted it by hitting 'continue' and it reloads and gives me the same vpp issue message.
Rebooted and disconnected it. My car won't turn on, HELP!

Guess I should add some info..
Tuner is updated to 9.2 and calibrated via dsdownloader.
Vehicle is a 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT. Diablosport Predator Tuner is U7134 (used for both SRT4 and PT GT)

Yeah I tried to 'restore' the original back up but the unit says nothing was written to the tuner, and that it hasn't even been married.
This sucks! I really need my vehicle, and I hate how because of a faulty unit I have to pay the consequences.

Yeah I'm on the westcoast.....so used to central time (just moved here from illinois) DOH!
Well I spoke to the vendor and he's a bit stumped as to how the diablosport even connected properly to my computer (since he believes there was a fault in the diablo receiving the calibration file from my computer). I bought a serial-usb cable from radio shack (gigaware) and he says the serial/usb cables are hit or miss.
I thought everything was going fine since dsdownloader connected to the tuner properly and it even showed the vin number of my vehicle/etc/and even displayed that it wasn't married.

The WEIRD part is (the instructions are so SIMPLE), during the step by step of trying to perform the 93-oct tune to my vehicle, during the process of key on/off it then started to 'load' and I got the VPP issue. I guess I didn't even get into installing the tune because it never even backed up my original hence not being married.

We can definitely get this straightened out, but I definitely need you to call us up with the tool hooked to the vehicle so we can try some recovery procedures. Friday is usually a lighter day for us, but your best bet is to call before 12:00 EST.

Thanks Mike!
The vendor has another DSP sitting on shelf and says he can send it out my way JUST IN CASE it's my particular unit. In the meantime, I have someone coming out here with a few different sets of serial/usb cables in case that's the problem. My car's SKIM activated, a security feature that prevents the car from being turned on/stolen so I guess I jumped the gun on that one. Was just wondering though why I got the VPP issue/missing file.
Hopefully it's NOT the unit and simply the cable, which again is weird because all other functions on the tuner work and it properly connects with my computer+dsdownloader program.
