SD Card support now available!

SD Card support is now available with the latest Trinity update!

The new update is trinity_gm_can_gas-1r07a_update.crom

and be sure to also update to the latest DSDownloader version 2.2.2.2....

You can use up to a 2GB sd card...

make sure the trinity is off before inserting an sd card...

you can use the sd card for saving data logs to it, save custom tune files to it, save your custom gauge dashboards to it, get the copies of your original backup and last tune written tune files to it, etc etc...

Actually, IF you let DSDownloader update itself to 2.2.2.2; It will automatically install all the newer CROMs (if your Trinity is unmarried).

Lew, Domenic Signorelli here. I got a big problem, I just updated my crom to trinity_gm_can_gas-1r07b_update.crom and it won't let me select the escalade. It goes as far as the 6.2L and returns,"if you're unsure of the engine, please call customer support". and a whole bunch of other stuff. What happened? How do I fix it?

did you restore the original backup to your truck first??

did you try updating your Trinity again??

Yup! Don't know what happened. I tried 3 times to update it and each time it stops at the engine selection part and keeps repeating itself and never goes beyond that.

I can't seem to get the SD card to work. The unit won't start up with the 2GB (standard not HC) SD Card in the slot. Does it need to be pre formatted in any specific way? I'm pretty sure I've applied all the incremental updates. Should I apply "trinity_gm_can_gas-1r07a_update.crom" again?

Upon trial and error, I found that the card needs to be formated in windows as FAT and FAT only, not FAT32, and not FAT/master boot record from mac. It works!

Can you use larger than a 2GB SD card?

It is actually harder to get the 2GB cards and i just got some 8GB cards for $5

Can we send you guys an SD card to have custom tunes put on after we make mods beyond normal bolt on mods? Such as a cam?
