U7186 DPF Regen characteristics vs stock.....

I have a 2007 2500 HD with a LMM engine. The truck has never had any type of modification done to it. This is my daily driver, so it is unloaded 90% of the time. The truck goes trough an active regen every 600 miles, I put about 350 miles a week on this truck. Most of the mileage is on the interstate. The frequent regen makes me wonder if the EGT's are not high enough to keep the DPF clean during normal driving. My MPG is staring to suffer because of this. My question is will the tune U7186 raise the EGT's during normal operation so the turck will do a passive regen while driving insted of a active one where the engine uses the extra fuel. I have not pruchased a tuner yet for the HD. I have had experence with Diablosprt Predator programers before. I have one for my 2005 GTO and had good luck with it. I am looking to increase the overall performance of this truck, any small increase in MPG is a plus....

Not sure if it will work like that or not, but most of our customers are very happy with the mileage gains, give it a shot!
