I have a p1040 EPP on my 2011 Dodge 6.7 Cummins and keep getting various injector trouble codes (p020e for example) and a p0606 code. I reset the codes and they come back in a couple days, remove the EPP and no codes. Also noticed that when it does tgorw these codes, there is a loss in power and can not notice any change in performance with the EPP adjustment. Any help?!?!?

Discount the negative battery cable for a few minutes before installing the EPP.

So should I uninstall the EPP, run the truck, clear all codes and then try this? Do I need to disconnect the battery to return to stock or will that matter as much? Thanks

Yes, uninstall, disconnect battery, connect puck, and reconnect battery.
Thanks

Is there any chance that the EPP could throw either of these codes: p0101 and p2bac ?
Thanks

Do they only appear with the puck installed?

Yes, already did the steps listed earlier. Codes came on within 1 day of clean re-install, cleared the codes and they came back after 3 days.

Does the truck appear to run OK with the puck installed?

Runs okay, but cant really tell much if any change with the dial adjustments.

Truck only has 2000 miles, you sure about this? And no codes when EPP removed?
