Cant adjust transmission settings on my U7135

I have a 2005 300C and just finished updating the Predator and my car with your software with the latest versions. I was able to load the 91 tune no problem and even that feels stronger. I went to quick adjust for the transmission however and it gives me an error saying the TCM cant be programmed and that I might need to update controller ...... I updated to the latest tune on my predator from Feb 2011 and I also updated the car when I first plugged it in. It said my car needed to be updated . Took a good 10- min to update the car. Am I missing something? The tranny settings are what I most wanted from this tuner.

There is no transmission support with the U7135.

?! I read everyone talking about how much the tranny settings changed their car for the 300C. Has the options there I just cant change them and it says I might need to update update controller...... No tranny support ? Doesnt make sense. ....

Everything I have read says you can adjust the tranny. Very strange.....

Nope, the u7135 cannot access the TCM. The only thing it can change is stuff controlled through the PCM, which is very limited (shift points).

Bizzare, I just looked again at the forums and everyone talks about how much it forms up the shifts etc etc etc..... They talk about auto stick and all the other settings I cant access. Is their another predator for my car that does? Whole thing seems very strange.

Even the Superchips lets you change tranny settings........

Go into the Quick Adjust menu. Anything that can be changed is in there. You should see an option for Raised Shift points and 3 choices for the AutoStick. Thats all there is. The only shift firmness change is due to reduced torque management.

The u7135 is the only Predator for the Hemi cars.

There are options for shift firmness and shift points but it wont allow me to change any of these. A 300 board member stated

"Earlier build 2005's needed the TCM updated before the Predator could change the transmission settings. I know because I had this problem when I got my Predator. This is not the same as the CALID update that the Predotor may require (which I had to do also). DiabloSport does not do this TCM update. It needs to be done with a Starscan so if you likely have to go to a dealer. "

Get the update done, but I don't see any reason it should need it because DiabloSport has no access to the TCM. Its not cracked yet.

Nah, not a mod here. They don't have anybody working on the weekends, so I help where I can.

I don't go to ClubGP anymore. It was made pretty clear that I wasn't wanted by the mods over there. If I'm not appreciated, theres no point in going there.

You need to have your TCM calid updated at the dealer.

So will this give me full access tot he TCM settings ? Is this something anyne with a scanner can do ? Any more details on EXACTLY what I need to make this work ?

Scanner won't do it. They need to have a StarScan.
