Since installing Trinity my trucks mpg caculation has been way off, I'm talking about 15mpg higher then actual numbers. Is this normal and is there a way to correct this? Any help would be appreciated.

Not uncommon on Cummins once they are tuned...

Yes you are right but to off by two mpg compared to fifteen is a lot better. You would think the guys manufacturing this chip could do a better job on getting more accurate. That is the main reason for buying it to get better results and reliable readings in the first place. So does this say something about the unit in whole. I'm thinking I should have went with the Bully Dog or the Super Chip after talking to others the mileage caculation is more accurate. Do you think there may be an upgrade for this problem in the near future?

Its not something we did or can do differently.
The DIC makes guesses to determine mileage based on certain inputs, and once you load a tune and change pressure and timing like we do, those guesses go out the window.
