Need help. I have a 2005 Chevy with a 5.3L. I have the Preditor U7193 with version 9r11. I am having trouble with the cooling fans running constantly. I had an older version and update to this one hoping this would fix the problem. It didnt. With the programmer removed the fans turn on when they need to. What should I do. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks

Are you running the Diablo tune? they are on quite a bit more than stock.

mine are on at 50% speed all the time and % climbs at temp climbs. If you want to change those percentages, go into modify the tune. Not sure if your 2005 is the same as my 2007 but I've got temps and %s and I can adjust them.

no.. the older 2005 does not have electronic controlled fans like yours Canuck... there are no fan power percentages to adjust...

you will have 4 temps in there to adjust.. fan 1 off, fan 1 on, fan 2 off, fan 2 on...

with the tune, they're probably set to 189*, 196*, 197*, and 205* right now...

stock settings are way high, at like 220* + for all of 'em

so if you want to change those temps, I would just add another 10* to all 4 of 'em.. 199, 206, 207, and 215...
