2002 trans am ws6 questions please help

ok so i still havent got my trinity working, out of the box wouldnt save origional backup so i was told to go to the dealer and get the car flashed back to stock , incase it had a tune at one point, although i belived it didnt, but i figured it cant hurt so i went. and it still wont save origional backup in order to do a performance tune. called diablosport one guy tells me to return and ask for another trinity,another guy tells me to hold on and wait for engineers to fix the problem. already cost me an extra 100 dollars plus a speedin ticket on my way to the dealer to get the car back to stock. would be worth it though if the damn thing would work. Any advice?
