unable to read vehicle type

I have tried to contact tech support, but I have been on the phone for 1hr 20min. so far. I have successfully married my U7165 to my '06 Ford F-350 Diesel many times. This time when I programmed the 100hp tune my truck wouldn't start. It just says check guages and won't even turn over. My tool says unable to read vehicle type. I have tried everything, but nothing works. My current tune is set at 100hp. Please help I have a meeting tomorrow.

P.S. I bought this unit new from Mopac and it has only been in my vehicle

What revision is on this tool?
Please give us a call with the tuner powered up in the truck.
