2011 k and N Intake with predator
2011 k and N Intake with predator
I have a couple of questions regarding the U1794 predator. I previously had an 87 octane tune prior to the installation of the COI by K and N and was getting pretty good gas mileage at about 17 mpg. After installing the COI, my mpgs went to 12.4 mpg and obviously reduced dramatically. The questions I have are: do I have to set different parameters for the COI and if so, how do I set them? The product has been updated as well so I know its not due to an update on the product. Its giving me great power but mileage is bad...What is it that I need to do?

btw my vehicle is a 2011 chevy silverado with 5.3 engine. I'd really appreciate the help and input.

I curious as well. BEAR2073 almost talked me into doing the same thing, but i was sure that it would decrease the gas mileage....please help him and me out....

I believe this is the same question under another thread, and it was answered...can an admin clean one of these off the board or just the original poster?
