Hi, I bought U7151 Predator Tuner early this year and it tuned my truck great. Better fuel economy and more horsepower = a good thing.
My problem started happening very recently. Someone I let borrow my truck left a light on in the cabin, causing the battery to die. I got a jump and I'm sure the alternator has charged the battery since. Everything electronically works fine except 2 things.
First is my headlights. I have an Auto headlight feature, and it does not work anymore. I have to manually turn on the lights for them to work.
Secondly, when I try plugging in my Diablo tuner, it just gets a blank screen. I tested this both with the power off, power on, and power on with ignition with no luck.
Could my battery going dead have anything to do with this tuner not getting anything on the screen?

Thats odd.
Can you try powering it in any other vehicle, or with the 12V 1 amp power supply?

check your cigarette lighter fuse. Plug something into ALL power points and cigarette lighter ports. The OBD2 port uses the same power circuit. Your auto headlamp sensor may also use the same circuit for power. There is a chance the jump blew a few fuses.

The cigarette lighter has never worked to charge things like a cell phone, but has worked in the past to light a cigarette. I also have another cigarette-looking plug-in that does currently work. I think it's labeled 12V. I don't have another vehicle I can test with.
I'll have to find some instructions online on how to check for a blown fuse/where the fuses are located because I am a newb
Anyway, thanks for the help. Out of all that's wrong with my truck, it looks as if maybe, just maybe, I can fix this problem without having to spend 5 hours researching it haha. Kudos

if it was the cig lighter, the tool would not even power up
sound more like a low voltage/amperage issue...

Yep, it was the cig lighter fuse. Thanks for the help.
