RE: DR Hemi release statement, please
Mike can't answer... I don't know if he really work for Diablo... Maybe just a marketing consultant...
One thing is now sure, we Truck owners, are forgot by this companie... They let us go to take only the car market... After so many promises...
They don't seem to be able to do a safe tune for our truck...
And what about people who had ordered your tune for their Dodge car and truck... Now we will need to buy two of your programmer... Good for another topic...

I know you are frustrated and dissapointed, I too am dissapointed, but I woud like to hear from DS and think that we all need to stay calm, I'm sure trhey are working on it and would want to get it out as soon as possible - it is how they make their living after all.

RE: DR Hemi release statement, please
Yeah, they are working, working twice, because they splitted the tunners to make more money with us... Now they have two tunner to work with instead of only one...
Mike even don't know what to answer... But I would like to read what he have to say, again, we will see if he is liying, again and again...

1st off, I invite you to visit our offices to see what we are doing. Come meet all the people who are working on this project face to face. I do the majority of the reverse engineering on the DCX vehicles.
I'm sure you are not involved in product development as your daily job, but many factors can arise that you didn't expect which can cause delays in that product going into final production.
We have 4 DR HEMI trucks here a 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007 at our disposal 7 days a week and have tuned each and every one of them with great success along with customer vehicles. We know more about these vehicles than all of the rest of the handheld tuning companies combined. Come here and I will prove it.
We can actually do more with the trucks at this point than we can do with the cars but we still outpace the competition on price/performance/features on the LX cars. They don't even do the 6.1l SRT's. We do.
Due to the volume of files involved, and the different protocols used in the DR's, a split was needed for the LX and DR tools in order to have all the features we want you to have available to you. Dodge changes the DR PCM for simple things like the size of the fuel tank so we must account for each and every one of those PCM's. LX and DR development is based off the same basic development platform as they share many common features between them (except the 2003 DR.. which we can also do). During development, we realized a separate path was needed to support things like tire size, axle ratio, and majority of the TCM (transmission controller) since there are very radical differences between LX and DR. Adding those items proved quicker on the LX, which is why LX is coming out 1st. In no way, shape or form does it mean development on the DR stopped so we could focus on the LX. Once you get to this point, a separate part # is required so the distribution companies can warehouse them properly. We tried and tried and tried NOT to do this but there was no way around it.
Also, there isn't a handheld tuning company out there that will allow you to tune 2 vehicles with one tool AND have a tune in each. One must be stock. So in your case where you have a LX and a DR, you would need 2 tools from us, Superchips, Hypertech or anyone else who supports handheld tuning. You seem to favor Superchips, and you have every right to do that but I suggest that you do some research before making claims against us on what other companies do.
Here are some quick and simple facts gathered from their websites.
Superchips for 2006 DR HEMI = part # 3815
Superchips for 2006 LX HEMI = part # 3825
Superchips for 2003 DR HEMI = part # 3715 (and is a totally different tool)
Hypertech for 2006 DR HEMi = part # 85004
Hypertech for 2006 LX HEMI = part # 85007
Hypertech for 2003 DR HEMI = part # 50013
In no way have we forgotten about trucks. Truck sales FAR outweigh car sales so it's plain economics that DR trucks must be supported.
Our goal is to make the best product possible that lives up to your expectations of how it should perform.
So, with all that being said, you can bear with us for a bit longer and get the best handheld programmer available, or go buy one of the other companies tools. Up to you.
If you need any more information or have any questions, feel free to e-mail me directly at [email protected].
Oh, and Mike L. IS one of our techs, call the tech line, you will most likely get him on the phone.

Please ignore the massive level of ignorance present here.HemiSilva wrote:I'm not going to bash you guys, but could you please release a statement letting us DR Hemi guys know what's going on and how soon we might be able to expect the release.

The trucks have presented new and unique challenges that we must work with, and that is going to require a bit more time to get it done properly.
We are working on this non stop....no one here has taken a break in over 2 months.
We are living, breathing, eating Hemi!!
I can assure you the truck tool IS coming.
I do not yet have a release date, but I hear it SHOULD be ready within about 3-4 weeks of the car release.
Thank You

Thanks guys.
RE: Re: RE: DR Hemi release statement, please
This is good. I'm getting the LX Hemi tool, but I got a friend who's waiting for the Ram Hemi tool and I suggested he wait for this one. Now I can give him a better idea of the timing. BTW this tool will take care of Ram 2500's with the Hemi engine too right?

I know than Superchips and all other programmer need some different tunners, 1 for truck 2004 and over, one for the 2003, and other for cars...MikeWDiabloSport wrote:I am the president of DiabloSport and I would like you to realize a few things.Hemisport78 wrote:Mike can't answer... BUT IT'S WHY I SOLD MY SUPERCHIPS A MONTH AGO... BECAUSE YOU PROMISED TO US THAN THE SAME PROGRAMMER WILL DO THE JOB FOR EVERY HEMI ENGINE.
And I know than one of my car or truck will stay stock while the other is tunned, I was knowing that, and ? I can tune my car with the same programmer... And I never drive the car and the truck at the same time...
Sorry guys, but you took a big drop in what I was thinking of diablo...
Now I'll need to cancel my pre-order and re-order another part, because the most important is my truck. I will not buy two tunner, and probably no one, because it's too much problem. Cancel order, loose 3% fees, re-order a tunner... No way... Sorry, I'm out.
RE: Re: RE: DR Hemi release statement, please
Hemisport why don't you talk to the vendor. I'm sure they'd be willing to switch your order to the DR Ram tuner once it's released.
But you have to admit a vendor charging ahead of time is in now way Diablosport's fault.

In tree month ??? No thanks. We have been forgotten by Diablo, now I'll forgot them...donatom3 wrote:Hemisport why don't you talk to the vendor. I'm sure they'd be willing to switch your order to the DR Ram tuner once it's released.
Like many of other DR owners... They don'.t come here to say all what I'm saying, they don't have time to waste... But read on other forum, even here, some guys told than they are really unhappy of all that waiting.

Ok well good luck with whatever you decide to do.
