shift firmness
'02 GT with K&N air filter, BBK off-road X-pipe, 75mm throttle body & C&L upper plenum, Ravin' cat back exhaust, FRPP shorty headers & Diablosport tune. After adjusting shift firmness under WOT to as firm as poss. and turning off torque modulation. My car breaks the tires loose during 1-2 shift like I have a big block with NOS. Thank you Diablosport.

Shift Firmness Question
If you increase the shift firmness, will it be rough on the tranny? I have an 02 Mustang GT -- stock so far but I plan to do some upgrading. The car won't be going to the track every weekend, it will be a street car with a little more juice, so I need it to be dependable. Will the sport predator make the car less dependable and be hard on stock parts like the tranny?

RE: Shift Firmness Question
you will have no problems with drivability or longevity with a predator tune or a correct cmr developed tune. the diablosport tunes that are already in the units are built by very competant tuners @ Diablo. They work hard to develope tunes that are the best over all tunes for reliability and power. The last thing they want is for you to break your vehicle. Thier tech help dept. for thier cmr dealers does a good job of helping us tuners out here add to you automotive pleasers.
