Who can Dyno tune a CTS-V in the NYC/LI area?

Post by Mike_Levy »

Like the title says, is there a well known "best" GM tuner in the NorthEast who can do my V? All the "professional" tuners are saying I'm probably gonna need to get a Boost-A-Pump and bigger injectors with the new 2.38" pulley, so the canned tunes aren't gonna be useable for me for too much longer.

I don't just wanna have it email tuned. Its gotta go on the dyno and done right with a wideband.

Both of our local tester ran the stock injectors with the lower pulley (15 psi), and a CAI and H/E. Both cars have had the crap beat out of them. I watched the black V make at least 8 mile runs one day, and never missed a beat, in addition to being in it for some 'logging' when we got to tangle with a Porsche GT3 onthe highway...he was pissed ;)

The silver car has been down the dragstrip about 100 time, at least, and runs consistent 11.50's at 120, again, it has never missed a beat.
He just did a cam and LTs, and added ID850s. Johan said his stock injectors were pretty maxed out onthe pulley set up, but the variable fuel pressure system takes care of it and keeps you out of trouble :)

Anyhow...whats your ZIP code?

Mike, Zip is 11365. I was thinking it would probably be okay, but both D3 and Lingenfelter suggested going bigger. Of course, I'm not gonna do it until I get a log that says the injectors are maxxed out, or close to it.

Ted, I'll give you a call when the time comes.

Thanks guys.
