At the local 1/8 mile track 112 octaine unleaded gas is available. When I go I make sure that I have about a 1/4 tank of gas and mix 3 gallons of the race gas with whats in the tank. Playing it safe I would say that I have 100 octane at the minimum.
Timing : how many degrees "can" I, or "should I" advance the timing and should it be global or 4k-7k only
WOT fuel: which way should I go with this, my initial though would be richen but I am old school
I need these questions answered so I can get closer to "understanding" this tuner stuff.

which parameters and how much to change

These subjects will require time, research and experience. If you want to get critical in tuning your car, the first step would be to purchase a wideband A/F meter such as the Innovate as it works in conjunction with the Predator http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/diablo.phptwfolks wrote:At the local 1/8 mile track 112 octaine unleaded gas is available. From there you can dial in your A/F ratio to each particular fuel you are running. Different fuels have different densities and oxygen content. Just filling up with an oxygenated fuel can lean out the engine more than a full point.
For spark advance, the Predator tunes are aggressive 93 octane curves. You can try more or even less until you get the most out of your car whether on the dyno or the track(without detonation) There is no solid number to hold every engine to. Your combination might not even like the high octane and see no power gains. It takes experimentation and that is why the dyno is so valuable, you don't have to wait an hour or two between passes and then take all the conditions/factors into consideration. Do some searching on the internet for info on tuning engines and I think you will find a lot of great stuff.
