just ordered my U7194,will it be up to date?

Just bought the u7194 for my 2011 Silverado 5.3 2wd.Will the programmer need to be updated?I also have a K+N drop in filter and flowmster exhaust,I want to use the mileage booster tune,will this be ok.I am new to this so please forgive me if these are stupid questions,thanks in advance.

make sure you also buy the pc interface kit for it man... which is the usb/serial cable and power adapter, so that you can connect it to your Windows PC in order to update it, download recorded data logs, and import/export tune files for custom tuning...

the dealers/vendors/resellers that sell the product do not necessarily update all of their programmers that have been sitting on a shelf...

yeah, I ordered the PC interface kit,will the box have a cd to download the needed software,also how do I tell the current version,my programmer will be here today,WOOT.

when you power up the unit you can look on the top of the main screen it will say predator V. After the V is the software version information. Current version for that tool is 9R.29.

Just got my U7194 and it was all up to date and ready to go,Installed the 87 performance tune ,I love it.My question is ,if I use the mileage booster tune will I lose any horsepower,and what exactly is happening to save fuel.Thanks

You'll make less power than the diablo or 87 octane tune, but it will make a little more power than stock with the MPG tune.
