Don't keep telling us "a few weeks" when that it obviously NOT going to happen. Let us in on the reality of what is going on with it, that's all.Oldsaltydog wrote:Agreed with the last post 100 percentjavascript:emoticon(':punisher:')

I've been waiting since the fall of 2010. BUT, in their defense, the manufacturers don't make it easy. The factory tunes are encripted and are not always in the same way. Also, getting info from the factory is just about impossible. I wish it was as simple as just changing a parameter in a list that is written in plain english but it's a lot more complicated. There are programmers out there that will allow you to just jump in and start making changes and those come with a warning that states that when your engine blows up it's your problem, not theirs. I wish DS could just shit a tune and send it out but it just isn't going to work that easy.
Dude they already have TCM for the trinity. There should be no problem in getting the intune to do the exact same thing as the INTUNE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!rlkimmel wrote:I've been waiting since the fall of 2010. You must have missed their post in December saying TCM support would be released in a few weeks. Also must have missed their post stating all they had to do was port it over from the Trinity......There is no defending them, they flat out lied, again! It seems like that's what they are starting to be known for if you read around on other forums. Not many happy customers, we don't like to be lied to or mislead.
This looks more and more like the Predator deal, happening all over again.
TRUE THAT JUST SAD IT MAY BE TIME TO SELL MY BETA INTUNE AND GET ME A TRINITY.BlackZ71Silverado wrote:In their defense??? How exactly did you measure it and what were the numbers? With both the Predator and inTune it's night and day difference from stock. I haven't really had any issues with the supplied tunes.Silver2011 wrote:My new inTune went back to where it came from. Not only no tranny support but I measured less hp vs. my factory tune.

HPT? Is that a new dyno?
If you lost power, it must have been knocking, do you have the logs?
Did you try better fuel?

I've been beta "testing" computer programs for about 30 years. It has been my experience that most of the time when programmers tell you "in a couple of weeks" that is an estimate. It's quite possible that they ran into something unexpected and had to come up with a work-around. On top of that, they just released a new product (intune). Whether the Intune programming is the same as the trinity or the predator, I very much doubt it. I suppose you could try an alpha test for them after you sign a release that they aren't responsible when your vehicle blows sky high or fries your electrical system. or you could order an HP Tuner and do your own thing. I read a lot of complaining in the different forums. Most of it is from people that have absolutely no idea what is involved in developing a program. I wanted My Trinity ever since I bought my Colorado, (I want the additional gauges ) but I want a programmer that "WORKS" so I have to wait until its ready.

HP Tuner. Very easy to log changes in power with it.mikel wrote:HPT? Is that a new dyno?

Did not save my log but you might ask Ted at Jannetty if he still has a copy. Did not record any KR. Commanded AFR and timing were almost identical to stock. Don't know why I lost power as this was back to back passes. An 11.29 AFR isn't going to make optimum n/a power.
