So let me get this straight. When I connect it. Should I just load the 87 octane tune or something so I can get the LTW? Right now I have my custom tune on the truck.

Try this plug in to the truck it will save your custom tune as the stock
Back up load 87 tune to truck the 87 tune will be saved as last tune written
Save them to a computer so you will have your custom tune
I think diablo needs ltw and tune that was in truc to build you a
Stock tune after all is done save original stock tune and. Ustom tune on your
Computer as a precaution good luck

ok... i downloaded and installed the update after doing a factory reset on my truck, went to the truck to load a tune and got "vin database error" came back and read through this post and did what was suggested to another person with this same problem. the firm ware shows to be the current one but i have no tunes or adjustable parameters, i tried to reinstall the index file and keep getting n error saying it can't be loaded. what do i do now?

Wait until Monday so that MikeL can point you in the right direction. At least your truck isn't a brick sitting in the driveway, some people didn't get that lucky.

If it said vin error it is not updated the whole way you need to update it again.. I sent my file to DiabloSport so hopefully they will send me my original tune today

I've tried to reinstall and cannot i get an error saying the file cannot be added to firmware

I tried to reinstall my Diablew Tune it said that there was reduced engine power and the truck would not start. I put my "new" original tune back on the truck and it started up. This morning I tried to install my custom tune again and the same thing happened. Now I put the original tune back on the truck and it threw a P0606 code. I dont know what to do I dont know why my Lew Tune wont load to the truck. This update messed everything up.

send lew the new backup and have him remake the tune for you.
