Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean, Bank 1.


I live in Japan.
And have been riding the 2007 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 in Japan.

With the Diablo CAI Tune (91 octane) - my car, out of the blue, will STOP the P2096 code.
When I reset the code, it sometimes takes hours or sometimes just a few minutes for the engine trip again.
Please tell us about the deal.

My SRT-8 has been modified.
stock short blocks,
Arrington 90mm TB,
kooks long headers / with cat,
Corsa performance sports exhaust,
JET 180 stat,
SLP 25% under drive balancer,
vorlant cold air intke.

I do not compete. Not race.

It's usually the high flow cats associated with yout Kooks headers that cause that CEL.

An exhaust leak will cause that too.

that's right
it's because of the high flow cats
got the high flow cats from Dynatech on my hemi ram and dropped the P2098 error code
you can try the spark plug non foulers.....maybe it will work
