Killing Battery

Post by sizzle06 »

I know its been disscussed before but what settings in the sleep mode do i set it to so it doesnt kill my battery? I've heard different things so i just want to know which one is right. I have a 2012 superbee if that helps.

Thanks,
Sam

I had this happen and I changed Sleep mode to 60. But, I also now make sure I EXIT back to the Main Menu and so far no more drained battery. It seems that if you leave it in Monitoring mode or any other sub menu it will drain the battery. There is also a thread about a parasitic drain even when in Sleep mode, which makes sense as the Trinity needs to be "alive" when you press the button to wake it up.

My sleep mode is set at 30 and I too make sure it's on the main screen before leaving my car..
So far I have had no problem...
