U7194 update problem

I bought a used predator u7194, it had 9r03 on it so I attempted to update to 9r31 crom. Now the programmer says Incompatible Hardware (No serial flash found). Any ideas? I tried sending email to support but haven't received a response yet. Thanks.

Nevermind, support got back to me and sent me an older file, fixed now thanks.

I had the same thing happen to my U7194 today. It was updated from 9r09 to 9r31. Would an older .crom file help? Support please help. Thanks

9r09 or 9r10 is as high as you can go with that old version 7194...
