Early build 300C & TCM update

Any word on whether this capability can or will be applied to the predator. I have my tune installed successfully to the car (build January 2004) but there are no transmission adjustments available to me. I prefer to be able to do it myself rather than spend the time trying to find a dealer to do it.

Mr. Incredible, a very knowledgeable member, seems to have a very credible explanation of the problem. The Predator updated the PCM and the tunes are available but anything that tries to write to the TCM is unsuccessful. The discussion of this problem is later in the thread.

Johan stated in the above noted thread that the Predator updates the PCM only, not the TCM. Since I appear to have a TCM that needs to be updated before I can use any transmission settings, I am left with a Predator of crippled capability. I need to know what to do about it. Do I wait to see if Diablo can provide a solution? I don't have the time to be scouting out dealers who may or may not be willing to do the TCM update. Diablo solved the early build / police / export build problem quickly so I hope they can help those of us that need the TCM update to get full use of our Predators. This is the situation as I understand it, correct me if I am wrong.

I do not see us offering TCM updates through the Predator.
Those with early 05s seem to be having luck getting the TCM update performed at their dealership.

Thanks for the definite reply, a least I know where I stand. Either sell it to another LX'er or try to get the TCM update. At least we have 4 dealers in the area to hit up for the update.
