I just bought an i1000 and for some reason it won't fully install on my laptop and its windows 8 need help asap and my vehicle is a 05 jeep grandcherokee 5.7 hemi

there is not really anything to install on a laptop, except the driver, try these instructions:

my pc is windows 8 and I just plugged the usb in and updated
