DiabloSport tune and Traction Control

Post by TDSapp »

I just got my InTune DCX and installed the DiabloSport tune on my 2012 6-speed Challenger RT. I am curious if the tune disables the Traction Control or changes how the traction control works. The tires just seem to be breaking lose much more than they did before. With the cost of tires I don't want to be leaving rubber on random roads with out me setting out to do it. I think I remember seeing something about it in the adjustable parameters but I figured I'd ask first.

No, TC is not disabled. The car is simply allowing you to make the power it was supposed to now, without the pcm deciding how much power to make, just keep your foot out of it :)

Yeah... that's the real hard part for me.

I did find that I had to re-learn the car again. But I do love how much more responsive the car is.

On a side note, you might want to visit this thread over on ChallengerForums.com, it's a story about the day I received my InTune. It's titled

"Thanks a lot DiabloSport" Or "Oh no, oh No oh NO!" a long and rambling story.
