Hey fearless leaders...
Used a Trinity on this one, 05030232 calibration (OE), tune worked out great.
Customer swapped in 3.91 rear gears, speedo is bang-on perfect with the 'quick tune' choice for new rear gear in the trans section.
However, I can't kill the ABS and ESP error lights. No check engine light--no codes ECM or TCM.
Ideas for a fix, or will he have to live with this ?

Did you turn the ESP off? That will always throw those codes. Or one of the sensors may be bad.

try enabling traction control in the quick adjust menu?
If not, it may be a bad wheel speed sensor.

No, I left ESP on , and re-enabled traction control in case that was programmed out originally. No change on the lights...and I rechecked the custom tune vs. the stock read. The only difference in the TQM section is the "Enable Catalyst Reserve at Idle" byte.
I'll lift it next in case the prior shop forgot to plug something back in after the gear swap.

You would know. Or should I say we would. Or is that just on Germans?Mike_Levy wrote:Or one of the sensors may be bad.

Germans have electrical issues. Known fact. Wanna play, you deal with their quirks. Besides, you don't even have those sensors. VAG doesn't use valve stem sensors, theirs are built into the wheel speed sensors.smackdownsrt wrote:You would know. Or should I say we would. Mopar sensors aren't great, but they don't have RDCs and all that other crap.
