Misfire Count PIDs missing from log files

Post by nuke »

The MIL came on yesterday with DTC P0302 (misfire on cylinder #2), so I added all the even numbered cylinders' Misfire Count PIDs to the datalogging output of my inTune DCX, cleared the code, and continued to drive around to see if it would do it again.

It occurred again today while warming up in garage, but the misfire count was still 0 for all the PIDs previously added. And after plugging tuner into PC to view log files with DataViewer, the misfire PIDs are not available at all under the "Misfire" section of the logfile.

So I guess that output was not logged, which is probably related to why the counts were not updating in real-time, but either way I am wondering if there is anything I can do to get the tuner to start logging the misfire counts from the ECU.

thanks,
Nuke
