Upgrade from r17 to r19

I have the following:

03 6.0L
CALID vxap2b2
u7165 tuner
r17
60hp setting

I have experienced surging/cutting out under load at about 2000rpm, usually occurring at about 70mph going uphill since I installed r17. I am not quite sure what is causing this, but I assume it is related to the tune. The truck is still driveable, but will the r19 revision address this? I have heard some other posts on this forum indicating that it will not for my CALID. Please let me know if I should risk updating to the r19, or leave the r17 in until this issue is permanently resolved.

For right now i'd leave it there at the r17. I put the r 19 on friday and was very very unimpressed. See my topic on speedometer correction. I'm still waiting for a reply on that (i posted on the weekend also) But sounds like the tech guys are on top of there game. And should have it straightened out shortly

I would put the r19 into the truck. If you are unhappy for any reason, let me know and I will send you r17 again.
