Howdy:

Have been very happy with 7194 and my truck, esp since dialing in fuel with the 93 octane tune. One odd thing...as our outside temps have been dropping, notice that the E-fans run MORE rather than less, despite having cut fan ops in the lower temp cells during summer after first installing the tune.

Today, at 0 deg F, I got a DIS warning about engine overtemp only 10-15 minutes after starting truck. Pulled off road, truck would not restart. Connected 7194 and had a code for over temp (1011 or 1016(??)...it was early, on my way to work and a little panicked..) Funny thing was, once the code came up the temp guage said truck was dead cold. Once the code was cleared, it showed not quite warmed up, and after 5-10 seconds cranking truck re-started and all was normal again.

Should we Northern follk be putting stock programming back in for low temps, or running the tow or 87 oct program instead?

Thanks in advance for your help.
