Calibration error when trying to up date

I've been trying to load the tune into my 2014 Dodge 2500, 5.7 lt, 6 speed and am receiving a request for calibration. When I plug the unit into the computer, I receive a calibration error.

unfortunately, you have the wrong tool there.
Its an I-1000-DCX, you need a normal I-1000 for the 04 model.

I just purchased this unit and everything I'm reading called for the 1000-DCX. The truck is a 2014 model and the DCX is for 11+ Any other ideas

sorry, I misread your initial post and saw 2004.

Hi Mike, should I look at returning this unit. Purchased on Feb.25 and doesn't look like we're getting anywhere on the calibration failure. Let me know what you think, I've been working with your tech support since the 7th of March. Thanks
