Laptop won't recognize the Intune USB
I've plugged this into 2 other laptop neither of which I owned and the tuner drive loaded just fine. However my problem comes when I try to use it on my laptop. It will not recognize the USB to install onto my computer. I can't just hijack random laptops when I need to use this thing. Here are a few pictures that show what I'm seeing. Thanks

the driver is all but not needed, to allow it to load right click the intune.exe and select run as admin

That's also where my problem lies...nothing pops up giving me the intune.exe that I've seen.

I understand that...In my pictures that I have attached that is with the device plugged in. No drive presents itself when plugged in.

Re: Laptop won't recognize the Intune USB
I figured I would just try the run command and type in intune.exe, no dice...I'm pretty knowledgeable with computers and I've been stonewalled at every attempt. There is no cd drive popping up....there is nothing on my computer that shows that the intune is plugged in other than the "intune device" with a question mark by it in the device manager under "other devices" And the fact that its powered up.
For what its worth its a Windows 7 machine that's fully updated. Also like I stated its worked the first try on both of the other machines I've plugged it into immediately. I've searched the forums and there has been others with this issue but I could never find out what or how it was resolved.

Then It may be something I have to accept that it just won't work with my laptop. This is the only device I've had problems detecting with this machine. Thanks for your inputs.

Re: Laptop won't recognize the Intune USB
I solved it, apparently some windows 7 machines are just not cooperative. This is what worked for me....Right click "computer"---->click "manage"----->click "device manager"------->go down to "USB Controllers" and expand it--------->fine the "intune" usb------>right click it and disable----->unplug and plug the intune back in. Device was found and now works spot on. Thanks
