Ok guys help the rookie out here please.

I have an 05 Mustang GT with axlebacks. Just got my predator u7140 today in the mail. Will be installing it tomorrow with a Ford racing CAI. Will be installing catted x pipes soon as well. Couple questions for you.

1) Will by 7140 tuner be suffice when I put on the catted x pipes (stock headers) or will I need a custom tune?
2) Do I have to do the 93 octane tune if I have a CAI?

Any other tips you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much in advance.

I have an 05 also. As far as number one goes, I think it'll be ok. Lots of time's it'll be listed on the part when you buy it on whether or not it will require a tune. For number two, no you don't have to. I run 87 octane with my CAI that has the insert removed.
