Trinity locked with 2015 Silverado 6.2

Tried installing a tune today. I selected the automatic without knowing I need to select manual due to lack of 8 speed tcm support.
Now I have a corrupted backup tune. I do not wish to apply the backup tune to the vehicle for fear of messing up something, but I cant do anything with the tuner now. Do I need to have it unlocked/un married from the truck via Diablosport or is there anything I can do before tuesday to fix this?

What does the tool say for options/show last tune written?

I found that out. Lol. Last tune written was "PCM: Original Backup". Backed up the PCM before realizing I needed to switch the transmission to manual.

it won't let me do anything though. Do I need to load the original tune back to the truck and then do a backup with manual trans selected?

When I first plugged the Trinity in, it said
"Your calibration is not currently supported" and then
"Trinity will try to save your original backup"

The only options available are
"Modify Stock Tune" and
"Original Backup"
When I select modify it tells me
"Trinity was able to read a backup. You will need to export the backup using DS Downloader and call (561)908-0040 x1"

Its just unsupported at the moment, we'll get it added in the next update.

The reason I purchased this tuner was that your site stated it supported GM 2015 6.2l. Now you are telling me it doesn't yet?

There are 1000's of different calibrations, and we treat each uniquely, unfortunately there is no way to get them all until you start running into them in the field.

We have 100's of 2015 GM truck customers using inTunes and Trinitys, but we'll be getting new files like yours for years to come.
I just got a new unsupported file for an 01 Vette and an 06 Truck, just this past week

So what's the estimated time before I can actually use the tuner I purchased?

And if I still have this tuner by that time what will I do about the "Original backup" files that are on it?

we update the GM databases once a week, it will likely be Monday or Tuesday for the next one.

The unsupported file on the device will go away once it reads a supported backup.
