Will not let me tune the car

I have a 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T with K&N Typhoon cold air intake, JBA longtube headers, and Borla ATAK exhaust. I had an older version of the DiabloSport I-1000 inTune Vehicle programmer that I have tuned my car with until it stopped working. Once it stopped working I bought a new one and it will not tune my car because it says that the car has already been tuned. What do I need to do so that I can tune my car?

If you can not restore the car using the original tool with the original backup, I believe you have to have the dealer flash your TCM/PCM/ECU back to stock and then you can use your new Trinity.

is the new device an intune as well?

If so it will try to read the backup then prompt you to load a cal update which will set it all back to stock.
