New tuner question

For the new I2 Did you change the cable at all? It Seemed to easy to fry my T1000 because of a pin. Because of that I just never decided to spend the $100 to get my tuner repaired and been running Un-tuned. I miss tuning my pickup, but don't want to be afraid of frying my expensive tuner every time I plug it in.

the cable used by i2 is entirely different than the one used by the old Trinitys that connected at the bottom.
