I took my 2014 Dodge Ram Sport in for the occupant airbag sensor recall and I noticed on my warranty sheet, they have the airbag update on there and a separate line that states "Flash PCM Update".
I attempted to plug my i2 tuner in this evening and make sure my 93 octane tune was installed on the truck and the tuner says the truck is not supported at this time.
Has Dodge come out with a PCM update that now locks the 2014's from using a tuner, much like the 2015's and 2016's?
I checked for updates on the i2 prior to taking it out to the truck and it stated no updates were needed. I also checked again after received the error message and still no updates needed.

Re: Flash Update on PCM and Tuner wont recognize
this is why you should always restore before going to the dealer.
fax or email proof of the dealer flash then call with the tool powered up so we can reset the tool for you.
Thanks

Re: Flash Update on PCM and Tuner wont recognize
Update: Was able to contact Diablo and have them reset the registry log. Thankfully, my custom tunes were still saved in the tuner and I did not have to delete them and have hemifever send me a modified tune after the reset.
Thanks for your help!!
