2014 RAM - wont Tune says Please Wait!

I updated my tuner and everything went smoothly. Now I go to the truck and it wont go past the select a tune screen... it just says please wait .... I have tried three different times and it just stays on please wait while my ignition is in RUN position for up to 30 mins before I finally got tired of it hanging up and unplug the unit. Please advise how to reset.

Please note this isn't the first time I have tuned the truck with this device. The only reason im re-tuning now is because I took my truck to the dealer and had to un-tune so they could install their recalls and flash the PCM. None of this is unusual.
