Tire Size Question

Post by SCM »

2005 Dodge Ram 1500, 5.7, Spectre CAI, Flow Master single-dual

Trinity
Software version: v.1r13f
Serial number: 6QFCKDB-4
Bootloader version: 0.0
Tune: 93 Octane modified

My question is, I've ran the 93 Octane tune, unmodified, for a while now and a week or two ago I reloaded it to modify tire size/idle/throttle settings. My question is, when I modified idle and throttle default settings for the tune, an asterisks were placed over the parameters that were modified from the tune's default set parameters. However when I set my tire size no asterisk is placed there. And when I tap into the tire size menu it doesn't show the sizes I entered. Regardless of the method I use to get to the tire size adjustment be it "Quick Adjust" or within the tune modifier screen, either way, when I apply the tire sizes it says successfully updated but when I return to the screen in parentheses it says "not set". Is this normal? Or should it reflect what I've entered and applied? I did search before registering and posting but my efforts yielded nada. Any input is appreciated guys.

Also to add: even when running the untouched 93 Octane tune and trying to adjust tire size through the "Quick Adjust" menu I was given the same outcome. "not set" appears by each parameter even after applying and getting the "successfully updated" message.

Thanks!

Any type of suggestion/input would be appreciated.

Also to add, is there any fix for the cruise control bug? If I go above 60 it shuts off on all tunes except my original factory tune.

I would suggest you download the 1r13 mega crom....any of the recent application specific croms ie. Dcx 1r13h and so on are bugged to high hell. Restore your original back up, just use the 1r13 mega crom and you should have no issues. This seems to be the best bet for dcx, since ds keeps cranking out bugged updates and cant get through the programming.
