CTS V Acceleration hesitation

Post by MYV »

Good morning all
I own a 2015 cts v stock , I purchase a intune 2 , I loaded up my 93 tune only issue I have is there is a delay when you hit the gas pedal 2-3 seconds delay before the car kicks in, kind of of scary because it does it off and on so you never know when its going to act up.

is this normal ?

any advise would be appreciated

This post is over a year old and Diablosport still has not fixed the hesitation issue. I have a 2012 Cadillac CTS-V 6 speed manual transmission. I uploaded the 93 octane software into vehicle and have a 2-3 second hesitation issue going around corners. In a straight line everything works normal no hesitation. I used the inTune i2 for GM - i2030, updated it and followed all the instructions.

Any suggestions beside go back to stock and get a refund.

Per Amber in the Diablosport Tech. Support which to my surprise was working on a US Holiday, had me download the Ignition software on the website and update the Itune tuner again and then reload the 93 Octane tune. So far so good as far as the hesitation. 2 Thumbs up for the Tech Support Dept.

Hesitation has returned after 50 or so miles. Updated 93 octane software was no help. Going to try the 91 Octane tune, to see if it cures issue. What kind of HP TQ am I loosing with the 91 Octane tune?

Updated Itune and loaded 91 Octane tune will see how it reacts. I updated the tuner 4 times and it says there are updates available. It seems to be reloading the same first 3 files each time. It never says no updates available or any other response. Maybe a glitch in your updater?

Updated Itune and loaded 91 octane. Same results 2 second Acceleration hesitation. Unless you guys are willing to give me some sort of custom tune the Itune is going back to Amazon. Take the Cadillac CTS-V off your list of GM vehicles.

If you kept updating it may have wiped out the one we targeted for you.
We'll reset it but please just update one time after we do it so you dont wipe out the fix we are implementing.
