Trying to update Intune

Post by Jrob06 »

I'm trying to get my intune updated. I dragged the latest intune app onto the root of the device and it tells me tool must be registered first. Sounds like the Info.xml file needs to be corrected as i've read here on a few occasions. I included the file below.

Thanks!

Thank you! I was able to update to the latest application 1r04j.

I also updated the CD Rom iso to the latest version thinking that would fix the inability to use the auto update software in windows, (I have a mac but have parallels w/ Windows XP SP3). I get this error on the Autorun and and if i try opening the app by double clicking it:

Intune updater2.exe failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)

Any idea what could be up with this? Is the new app Windows XP compatible?

Thank you for your help!

I have not seen that, it should work fine on XP.

I got it working with a VM of Windows 7 with my MacBook Air . Guess it was time for me to use an OS that is still supported by Microsoft. I am probably missing some XP update that would let it run.
