Since the DashHawk only appears to read and not write...on my SRT8.
Can I hook it up in tandem with my Predator Programmer?
I have an ODII "Y" cable and want to be able to hook up the programmer without unplugging my DashHawk.
Will this work?

DashHawk info...

I've got the same exact setup you have. I wish I could say it works, but for some reason it doesn't. The Predator says it can't read the PCM when the Dashhawk is hooked up. I still have the "Y" cable hooked up, as it makes it easier to switch between the DS and the DH without fumbling around for the stock plug. I tuck them both up behind the lower panel, one with the DS plugged in, and the other has nothing plugged in. No problems. Maybe one of the DS gurus can come on and tell us why it doesn't work, and if there is a way to make it work.

I guess the Predator doesn't know what to do with the DashHawk communications. Or most likely the DashHawk "Owns" the comm requests as the PCM probably doesn't "share" comm requests.

Theres probably too much info being sent on the bus.

The DashHawk tries to limit itself to 2%? (maybe it's 5%?) of bus utilization. I don't know what mechanism they use to do that.

Quick (<-- haha) update. DashHawk (Ken Mosher) is speculating that you guys are both using the same ID on the bus. Any possibility you can coordinate with them?
