update issues on mac..again

Post by ffwatson21 »

when i plug in to mac and run the update, it always quits unexpected.
i finally got the i2 to update, but now everytime i plug it in to computer, it installs updates on the i2 before i open the i2 driver then says press continue to reboot. when i press continue, it says please wait. ive tried it numerous times for sometimes hours and it never reboots.
This thing is becoming quite the pain

What's the current update number wise on the i2030? Just making sure I'm updated before I run the tune. Thanks

i2010, I'm having the exact same issue. Been going on for 2 days now, appears that all the updates finally completed but I'm stuck on "Please Wait". I left it hooked up this morning going on 2 hours now and still displays "Please Wait" after the re-boot prompt. What is going on here? Wish I never updated, everything worked great before this.

does it boot properly in the vehicle?
can you post the info.xml file from the i2 drive?

I see macs put files on the i2 drive that do not belong there all the time, might check that as well.

I'm having the same issue, I just received my tuner and plugged it in to the computer before hooking it up to my truck. First i had to update my Java which I did no problem. Then when i opened the updater it would quit unexpectedly right at the end of the update, then the programmer would just start updating automatically at reboot it just get stuck at please wait. So i connected to wifi ran the update and it rebooted fine. Tried programming my truck at this point and got a message that my vehicle is not supported may need to update please connect to PC. WTF i had a super chips flash paq before this and had zero issues ZERO. Made the switch to diablo because all the ram truck guys swear by them. This is the most frustrating thing. I payed over $400 for something that isn't working.
