Cannot get i2 to update on Windows PC

Hello, I am new to the forum. I have had Lew write me some custom tunes for my 2015 M7 Corvette Stingray.

I cannot get my i2 to update. Full disclosure - it may have begun it's life on an iMac initially and now I use a PC.

Regardless, I can connect it, view the logs with the data viewer (very cool BTW). But I cannot update the darn software. What am I missing here? I generally open the DSDownloader and it says it is under remote control but nothing happens.

ALSO, I never received a rebate check back when I purchased my i2 from AutoAnything. I think it was supposed to be for $25. Please restore my faith in Diablosport.

Under database information, the GUI is 2r01d. Not sure if that helps.

you dont use dsdl, you open the drive on the i2 then the updater folder/windows folder and then run the first file listed in there and it updates the device.

Hi, I'm sorry, I'm not familiar, what is dsdl?

So you're saying that I should drag and drop the file to the i2 device after it is plugged into my computer? And then I should open it via the device itself when it is unplugged from the computer after I have downloaded the file onto the device?

Also, how about my rebate claim? Are you able to look that up and resolve it? Thanks! -Brendt

All you need to do is open the intune drive in file explorer, then go into the updater folder, then the windows folder and run the updater program in there. The update will automatically download and install to the device.

DSDL is DS Downloader, the old updater program for the Predator and Trinity, the inTune does not use that.

Also, on a somewhat unrelated note.... Lew with Diablew is saying that my data shows a lot of knock retard on my 2015 base stingray with Kooks headers and non-green cats. Any ideas what may be causing this??? Any help is appreciated.

I recall hearing that those have a lot of knock right from the factory, I'm not an expert about it though. Maybe the O2 sensor is at a different distance on the headers and there needs to be a delay tuned in???
