DSLogRedux recommended injector slope adjustment

Post by brandons_ride »

I went to do some data logging to adjust my LTFT. I loaded my log files into the data viewer and exported like normal. When I loaded the .csv file into DSLogRedux I have a section that is not populating. The section is recommended injector slope adjustment under recommended cruise adjustments, it remains blank whenever a log file is analyzed. Also, the WOT burst ideal range states the average LTFTs are locked at 0.

Did some research and troubleshooting. So the error message is fairly common. The specific error in my message seems to be uncommon. The entire error message reads:
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will
close immediately.
Access to the path "C:\Program Files\FGBSoftware\DSLogREdux2013x64\Raw_Data210022268.csv" is denied.

Attempted to uninstall and reinstall the program that did not solve anything. I attempted to use the log file that came with the program and compared it the screen shots in the instruction manual. They did not match up (suprise?) so any suggestions or help is appreciated.

------------------------UPDATE------------------------------------------
So I did a compatibility check and that seems to have resolved the error message. stated above. To run as an administrator normally you right click on the icon and select run as admin. Not this time, nope not that easy.
Start> all programs> DSLogRedux>right click DSLogRedux>troubleshoot Compatability.

Now that the first error has been resolved time to move onto the next one. " The Equivalence ratio is not present in the log file- You must log the equivalence ratio!" Yeah, everyone's favorite.
So I looked up that error message and found that normally you can click okay and the log file will still analyze just fine. Not this time, not for me. Time to double check the parameters. Again.

-------------------------UPDATE-----------------------------------
Double checked the parameters for logging equivalence ratio. Can't find it under the Fuel PID list. Also, the car is from 2000 so with it being 17 years old I'm not sure it has the option anyway. If other people are able to view the file without logging it I wonder why I am having so much difficulty right now.

that is a third-party program, not a diablosport program.. and that 3rd party program has been discontinued for a long time now..

but your error issue sounds like a permissions problem of your user account on your windows pc.. make sure you have administrator access level permissions.

and no, that old 2000 vehicle will not have that parameter

06MonteSS I figured out what the problem was. I need to send a log file to Lew for a custom tune now. Thanks for the reply.
