No tune seems to work on 2017 Mustang GT with CAI and BBK TB

Post by virtualizationG »

Hello!

I purchased the I2020 and have tried several tunes the car runs very rough and stalls in the driveway. I install a Corsa CAI, Corsa Cat back exhaust and a 90MM BBK TB that both claim to not need a tune. However I purchased the Diablo Sport hoping to get a bit of a performance increase with these new parts.

Does anyone have a similar setup or possibly a tune outside of the ones that come loaded on the device that may help the poor results I have gotten? Any help would be appreciated.

Ive never seen or heard of a corsa CAI, not sure how that needs to be set up.
My biggest concern is the TB, I would suggest removing it and see if the vehicle runs better.

Thanks

Thanks Mike. It does run better without it. What I did was flash the unit to the 934 Octane custom tune and it runs better no lights or errors after driving about 40 miles with the 90MM unit installed. I did get a CEL after getting on the gas a little bit while testing it going to check codes. The AFR is running around 14 for the most part so that seems to be inline with what I have read is a good mixture. I was going to modify the fuel settings inside the custom tune to see if it had any impact buts didn't want to make things worse so I left it as the stock 93 tune for now.

Thanks for the reply.
