shift firmness and egt ?

Just got my u7170 for my 01 f250 7.3 auto, how do i change shift firmness, and what do these normally run for egt's mine hits 12-1300 before it even leaves 1st gear and i have to let up, whats the maximum i can run ive heard 1200 degrees amximum, but not sure how right that is. will an update bring these egt's down, Oh btw this is on either 85hp or 100hp, either one does it

Those two tunes do require the use of a 4" turbo back exhaust to keep temps in check, if you do not have this, I would back the tunes down.
Also, EGT sensor placement is critical, is this mounted before or after the turbo?
